billingdisputes@citi.com subject d193948191121 This displute is about the purchase of a cord of wood for 275 dollars. A cord of wood fills a volume of 128 cubic feet when stacked. Typically wood is delievered in a dump truck in what is call a thrown pile. Refference: Online information on firewood volume measurements. https://www.wikihow.com/Measure-a-Cord-of-Wood https://www.shtfblog.com/cord-wood-dimensions-stacked-face-loose/ All images, pdf and other documents pertaining to this dispute are also available online at Images: http://ikiw.homeip.net/firewood/joe.wood/00page.html Attached PDF http://ikiw.homeip.net/firewood/joe.wood/1280x960/joe.dispupe.pdf The aggreed to rule of thumb is that a stacked code of 128 feel will occupy a thrown volume of 180 cubic ft. At time of delivery the stacked volume of wood delivered is not known. The terms and example of the wood offered for sale was from this Facebook market AD. http://ikiw.homeip.net/firewood/joe.wood/1280x960/JoeStoffan.firewood.offer.jpg Screen grab. And I also have screen shots of the chat conversation. Attached PDF pages. 2 4 6 I have images of the stacked wood in my face racks. Attached PDF pages. 35 A face rack stores a single column of wood. The volume of a face rack is the length time the hieght times the average(mean) length of the wood. The image of delivered wood in the Monroe facebook AD showed clean split lengths of wood. Attached PDF page. Most of delivered wood was mud splatted with some soaked from being in muddy water. 10% was blocks of wood that when split was not seasoned. Attached PDF pages. 45 47 Many of the wood was in the form of chunks that were less 12 inches. These racks are 87.5 inches = 7.3 ft long and can be stacked upto 62 inchs. The wood was stacked with longer logs at the bottom and shorter logs at the top. For various heights of the stack a mean length was determined in inches converted to feet. Then the each height a volume of 7.3ft x height ft times the log length ft. This details my complaint against the 275 dollar charge for a cord or 128 Cubic Ft of firewood. Thomas Watson.
